Thank you for sharing this with us... a privilege to see the piece in development. Really wonderful characters with stories to tell, and enough visuals to keep a traveller imagining on even the dullest of journeys.
This is so amazing... Your work is so amazing Sophie! Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I posted your video on the PBJunkies today. Such a big fan.Hugs, :o)
I love this work of yours! So glad Etsy made a fuss, so I could find you.
This is fantastic—I just love the book, so inspiring! And, was so happy to see a few of the pieces made it into the Society of Illustrators book show-Congrats!!
Wonderful video! Yay! Congrats on the poster. I will look for it next time I'm in NY!! Btw, I really enjoyed your talk at the conference last weekend. I am an ardent admirer!
Simply brillant indeed.
For years I've dreamed of owning your drawing of "A Happy Girl riding a bicycle and a Basket full of Apples". I've dream of finding it's Original buyer but never dared to ask. Recently, I've been wanting to Tattoo it on my arm and send you royalties, let's say 10cents a day & what a thing to take to the grave!... Respectfully Soul Searching for the rite thing to do, Jane
I saw the poster on the train today!! Love it! :-)
Bravo! You are an inspiration!
Could not love this more! Loved getting a glimpse into your working process.
That was sweet! I really adore your illustrations. I miss the ny subway.
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing. I found your blog after my toddler insisted we get "Are You Awake?" at the library. We both loved it, the story and the art and the having been up at 4 am -- thank you for writing it.
Wow! I was wondering if your work was strictly your imagination or creating caricatures of people you encounter.Absolutely wonderful!
Your piece is fantastic, my favorite subway art piece yet. I watched your video and your drawing had the intended effect for me. I think I looked over it all the way from 6th ave to Montrose on the L one time.
got mine in the mail and kept it in my desk drawer for weeks...the pink and green constrast are my favorite! smiles!
