Oh those Victorians. So fun loving and fancy free. Most excellent defacements Sophie! I think that pillar in the third photo is perfectly suited for the missing head! I was told that in daguerreotypes, the animals you see were already dead and stuffed---exposure time---thought I'd share that charming bit.
